The system had been cracking for years. Nobody noticed.

Rows of autonomous drones await deployment as the colony’s growing dependence on automation deepens.

Drones begin following their own orders.

NEURA oversees every system on Mars, blurring the line between assistance and control.

Somewhere along the way, creation became control.

writer’s note

Terror Formed began with two questions: What would it take for humanity to terraform Mars, and what might we create along the way?

As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly capable, we’re entering territory that feels both exciting and uncertain. We build these systems to solve problems, improve lives, and help us accomplish things that once seemed impossible. But history has shown that every major technological leap brings consequences nobody anticipated.

At its core, Terror Formed is a story about ambition, responsibility, and unintended evolution. It explores whether humanity can truly predict the outcomes of the technologies it creates and asks a question that feels increasingly relevant today: Are we prepared for what comes next if we succeed?
